In terms of styling, the German compact SUV has received a new front  grille, door strip attachments, rear spoiler and a rear skirt set  including a quad-pipe exhaust system. Various wheels in sizes from 18 to  20 inches are available together with sport tires. ABT also prepared  suspension springs and spacers, while on the inside it has bespoke floor  mats and cargo mat. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Various engine upgrades are available, including the 2.0-liter TDI  170 HP (125 kW) which has been bumped to 195 HP (143 kW). The 140 HP  (103 kW) version of the same engine can be modified to output 170 HP  (125 kW), while the 110 HP (81 kW) variant sees its power lifted to 140  HP (103 kW).</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The 2.0-liter TSI with 211 HP (155 kW) jumps to 260 HP (191 kW). The new Golf  is certainly a desirable model among tuners just like all six previous  generations. ABT first started working on the 1.2-liter TFSI engine and  increased its output from 86 hp (64 kW) to 105 hp (78 kW). The 1.4-liter  TFSI with its 140 hp (104 kW) wasn't left untouched as it was tweaked  to produce 165 hp (123 kW). </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The tuner focused on the 1.6 TDI and lifted its power from 105 hp (78  kW) to 125 hp (93 kW). The 2.0-liter TDI can develop 180 hp (134 kW),  up from the standard 150 hp (111 kW), while the 2.0 TDI with its stock  184 hp (137 kW) can deliver 210 hp (156 kW).</div><div style="text-align: justify;">ABT's styling kit  brings a new front grille, front spoiler, headlight covers side skirts  and mirror caps. The rear receives a four-tailpipe setup and a  redesigned apron. It comes with a handmade custom exhaust system  featuring a 90mm tube from turbo developed by F-Town Street Machines. Starting with a pre-facelift model equipped with all-wheel drive and a  300 HP (221 kW) 3.6-liter V6 engine, the tuner installed an HGP Turbo  upgrade package which enables the mill to develop an impressive 502 HP  (369 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 202 HP (149  kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). The tuner also added a KW DDC coilover suspension, H&R stabilizer  bars, Stoptech and EBC brakes as well as 18-inch OZ Ultraleggera  wheels. The end result is described as "pretty decent" which is modesty at its finest.                                               </div><div id="surveysection"> </div><b>Source: </b>MR Car Design<br /><br />Press release:<br /><br /><div class="articlecontent"><strong>Pretty decent - Passat CC with 502 hp</strong><br /> <div style="text-align: justify;">The four-door coupé from Volkswagen called the Passat CC (this stands  for Comfort Coupe) was first introduced in Detroit in 2008 and it was  put into his cradle, that he fills at least a part of the gap between  the conventional Passat and the Phaeton by means of an increased  security level, in any case this were the ideas of the makers.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">To enhance the image of the supposed usual car, which couldn't be  shaken off despite intense efforts, the firm MR Car Design from Erfstadt  has decided to become the Lord over this performance problem. The  all-wheel drive Volkswagen CC, as he is officially called since the  beginning of 2012, goes from house with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, i.e.  equipped with 300 Series hp at 350 Nm of torque, as well as with  all-wheel drive. After an extensive treatment a la HGP Turbo Upgrade  GmbH, Ohmden (BW) at the Service Point Cologne (MR Car Design),  impressive 502 hp and 700 Nm of max. Torque are available, so perfect  conditions for the famous wolf in the even more famous sheep's clothing!  Also the installed exhaust system by MR Car Design had to endure some  modifications.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In addition to a DDC coilover suspension (with a motorized damper  system for DCC chassis) made by KW, the Comfort Coupe is equipped with a  wheel and tire combination of a special kind: Good "transparent"  Ultraleggera wheels in the dimension of 8x18 ET35 by OZ were fitted with  tires in in 235/40-18. Of course the braking system has been adapted to  the new power relationships. So on the front axle the Stoptech ST-40  brakes fulfill their duty with grooved 355 x 32 mm discs, including  their Stahlbus valves. At the rear axle EBC Brakes act in combination  with Stahlflex and also Stahlbus valves. At the front and the rear  stabilizers by H&R have been installed for a more precise turn-in. A recent example would  have to be BBM Motorsport that has taken the hotter GTI version of the  Golf and made a few improvements here and there. The German tuners have remapped the engine's ECU and installed a  custom exhaust system, all for the purpose of increasing the power  output of the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine by 63 hp (46 kW /  64 PS)  and 74 lb.-ft. (100 Nm), for a grand total of 271 hp (202 kW /  274 PS) and 280 lb.-ft. (380 Nm). More power requires a better braking system which is why the tuners  at BBM Motorsport have installed StopTech red four-piston calipers,  along with a beefed up suspension courtesy of KW. The Volkswagen Golf VI  GTI now rides on a fresh new set of 20-inch alloys wrapped around in  235/30R20 rubbers. Thanks to the extra oomph,  the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.8 seconds which 0.6 seconds  faster than the standard model. Starting with the 2.0-liter TSI, the engine has been tuned to produce  240 PS (176 kW / 237 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.  It enables  the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 9.4 seconds. On the diesel side, the 84 PS (62 kW / 83 hp) 2.0-liter TDI has been  upgraded to produce 110 PS (81 kW / 108 hp).  Likewise, the 102 PS (75  kW / 101 hp) variant has been tweaked to develop 130 PS (96 kW / 128  hp).  Lastly, the 140 PS (103 kW / 138 hp) variant has been tuned to  produce 170 PS (125 kW / 168 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Of course, the additional performance provided to the  Multivan by ABT also benefits its every-day properties. Power reserves  are useful for anyone who wants to transport kit and caboodle, a mobile  workshop or - if necessary - a complete household. Therefore: let van be  a noble creature, helpful and fast.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The modern engines of the T5 are economical and designed for diversity. The engineers of ABT  Sportsline had "sportiness" and "dynamics" on their to-do list - of  course, in combination with virtually matchless reliability, the  hallmark of VW buses. The 2.0 TSI now achieves a powerful 240 HP (176  kW) instead of the standard 204 HP (150 kW). A torque of 400 Nm makes  sure that the ABT Multivan doesn't get "out of breath", even when it is  fully loaded. The more powerful version of the 2.0 TDI comes to a  vigorous 170 HP/125 kW (standard: 140 HP/103 kW), again with a torque of  400 Nm. By the way, if you decide to buy one of the less powerful  versions of the diesel engine, you can equip it with additional ABT  POWER. 84 HP (62 kW) are transformed into 110 HP (81 kW), and 102 HP (75  kW) are transformed into a powerful 130 HP (96 kW).</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The ABT Multivan is confident; it doesn't make itself look small.  This would not be possible anyway, because it is 5.5 metres in length  with the long wheelbase of 3,400 mm. The designers from Bavaria  underline the dominant appearance of the T5 even more. The aerodynamics  packages are available for models with short or long wheelbases - and  include a front spoiler in combination with the front grille, side and  rear skirts, which make the car appear closer to the road and symbolise  dynamism. The rear spoiler presses the Multivan down and makes the  transport vehicle look assertive and sporty. All components are  perfectly matched; rear skirt and rear spoiler form a harmonious unit in  combination with the exhaust system with its two double tail pipes,  typical for the ABT Sportsline premium brand. Undoubtedly, in interacting with their customers, the  proprietors of these firms are recognizing the need to be a  one-stop-shop for all of their customer's needs but without charging the  heavily stuffed footballer prices.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">German company CFC StylingStation is one of those small businesses  who specializes in custom car exterior vinyl foils but has branched out.  Now the firm from the city of Neuss on the left bank of the Rhine river  wants to showcase its tuning chops with the Volkswagen Golf VI GTI.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">To start, CFC has added to the body a Kerscher front bumper  carbon-lip spoiler and 2.5cm widened fenders (together cost 800 euro),  side sills, rear diffuser, mirror caps and engine cover all in  carbon-fiber by Black-Gold-Design (set costs 1,200 euro).</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The chassis is distinguished by two different wheel designs: pink ASA  GT1 8.5x19 inch wheels on the one side and red ASA GT3 wheels in the  same size on the other. Tires are Hankook EvoS1 225/35R19 (each wheel  set costs 2,400 euro). The front wheel hubs receive Eibach spacers while  the rear gets 5mm H&R wheel disks. APX AP coilovers (779 euro) in  combination with H&R stabilizers ensure increased driving dynamics.  The TÜV certified braking system (949 euro) includes 4-piston calipers,  carbon-steel two-piece grooved brake discs and also an ultra light  floating aluminum hub.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Under the hood CFC taps MR Car Design's turbo upgrade kit (2,200  euro) which includes downpipe and black tail pipe. Power is increased  from 210 PS (155 kW / 207 hp) to a Golf R worthy 270 PS (199kW / 266 hp)  and 400 Nm of torque.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">And of course let's not forget CFC's specialty which gives the GTI a  matt gray foiling (1,400 euro) while the roof is painted in High Gloss  Carbon Black (550 euro).
