Starting with a pre-facelift model equipped with all-wheel drive and a  300 HP (221 kW) 3.6-liter V6 engine, the tuner installed an HGP Turbo  upgrade package which enables the mill to develop an impressive 502 HP  (369 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 202 HP (149  kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). The tuner also added a KW DDC coilover suspension, H&R stabilizer  bars, Stoptech and EBC brakes as well as 18-inch OZ Ultraleggera  wheels. The end result is described as "pretty decent" which is modesty at its finest.                                               </div><div id="surveysection"> </div><b>Source: </b>MR Car Design<br /><br />Press release:<br /><br /><div class="articlecontent"><strong>Pretty decent - Passat CC with 502 hp</strong><br /> <div style="text-align: justify;">The four-door coupé from Volkswagen called the Passat CC (this stands  for Comfort Coupe) was first introduced in Detroit in 2008 and it was  put into his cradle, that he fills at least a part of the gap between  the conventional Passat and the Phaeton by means of an increased  security level, in any case this were the ideas of the makers.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">To enhance the image of the supposed usual car, which couldn't be  shaken off despite intense efforts, the firm MR Car Design from Erfstadt  has decided to become the Lord over this performance problem. The  all-wheel drive Volkswagen CC, as he is officially called since the  beginning of 2012, goes from house with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, i.e.  equipped with 300 Series hp at 350 Nm of torque, as well as with  all-wheel drive. After an extensive treatment a la HGP Turbo Upgrade  GmbH, Ohmden (BW) at the Service Point Cologne (MR Car Design),  impressive 502 hp and 700 Nm of max. Torque are available, so perfect  conditions for the famous wolf in the even more famous sheep's clothing!  Also the installed exhaust system by MR Car Design had to endure some  modifications.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In addition to a DDC coilover suspension (with a motorized damper  system for DCC chassis) made by KW, the Comfort Coupe is equipped with a  wheel and tire combination of a special kind: Good "transparent"  Ultraleggera wheels in the dimension of 8x18 ET35 by OZ were fitted with  tires in in 235/40-18. Of course the braking system has been adapted to  the new power relationships. So on the front axle the Stoptech ST-40  brakes fulfill their duty with grooved 355 x 32 mm discs, including  their Stahlbus valves. At the rear axle EBC Brakes act in combination  with Stahlflex and also Stahlbus valves. At the front and the rear  stabilizers by H&R have been installed for a more precise turn-in. The standard version comes with a 2.3-liter turbo engine developing  260 hp (191 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque at 3,000 rpm, but after  the tuner worked its software magic it now outputs 310 hp (231 kW). The  50 hp (37 kW) power increase is available for 699 euros. MR Car Design is also offering a downpipe with or without catalytic  convertor, along with a cat-back exhaust system. Looking low and menacing, the model features an air suspension and 20-inch Oxigin wheels. Under the hood, the 2.8-liter V6 engine has been equipped with an  optimized ECU and a K&N air filter.  Thanks to these modifications,  the mill develops 375 PS (276 kW / 370 hp) and 495 Nm (365 lb-ft) of  torque - an increase of 50 PS (37 kW / 49 hp) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft). Now, the German  tuner doesn't say which power plant they're dealing with here but we  have to guess that it's the 2.0 liter TDI diesel with an output of 132  kW (179 PS / 177 bhp) and 400 Nm (300 lb-ft) of churning power.</p> <p>MR Car Design also lifts the V-max lock and adds a new 4-pipe sport exhaust system for the proper 'cool van' sound.</p> <p>The aerodynamic kit is supplied by Abt Sportsline and features a  front-and-rear spoiler, a new grill, fog light inserts and side skirts.  The headlamps also get LED daytime running lights.</p> <p>For the air ride suspension, a lowering of up to 100 mm is offered. Optics also include a new rear bumper, black fender lights at the front and an new mid-mounted rear brake light in black too.</p> <p>Upgrading takes place under the hood too, with a software tweaking of  the ECU that adds 80 PS (79 bhp / 59 kW) and 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) of  torque to the SL 65 AMG's standard output of 612 PS (450 kW/604 bhp) and  1,001 Nm (738 lb-ft) from the 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 engine.</p> <p>The V-max is also unlocked on the SL 65 AMG, a sport exhaust system is added and a suspension lowering by 30 mm is performed.</p> <p>The car rides on 20-inch forged rims by Carlsson.</p> <p>On the inside are custom-made Black Series dial lenses.</p>
