They focused on the inline-six 3.0-liter diesel engine which in its standard configuration puts out 300 hp (223 kW) and 300 lb-ft (406 Nm) of torque. By remapping the ECU and updating the air intake they were able to lift output to 370 hp (276 kW) and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque. Thanks to this significant power boost, the X6 is able to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 5.4 seconds, making it 1.1 seconds quicker than the stock X6 diesel. Top speed is also up from 130 mph (209 km/h) to 164 mph (264 km/h).</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Changing gears is now done a lot faster thanks to the revised ratios of the eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Sportec has installed a set of 20-inch OZ lightweight alloy wheels which have lowered the car's curb weight by 40 kg (88 lbs). Looking tastefully restrained, the model has a stainless steel sports exhaust system, an adjustable coilover suspension (which reduces the ride height by 20-40mm) and 20-inch alloy wheels that cover high-performance Movit brakes. Thanks to a revised ECU, the 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine produces 408 PS (300 kW / 402 hp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 68 PS (50 kW / 67 hp) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft). If that isn't impressive enough, non-Swiss versions can be tuned to deliver 500 PS (368 kW / 493 hp).</div></div>

Also helping with output is the new titanium sport exhaust.</p> <p>All told the extra power is good for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.1 seconds while top speed is a more-than-breezy 373 km/h (232 mph) - substantial bumps over the production model's 3.5 second run and 330 km/h (205 mph) top speed. </p> <p>Replacing the series model's 19-inchers are the Sportec Mono/7 alloy 20-inch (ET40) wheels with central locking and Cup tires - in dimensions 9 x 20-inch and 12 x 20-inch, with 245/30/R20 und 315/25/R20 tires, front and back, respectively.</p> <p>The SP 800 R gets a suspension lowering of 25 mm for increased downforce too.</p>
