Dubbed the Spia, the model has been equipped with a carbon fiber body  kit that includes a front splitter, revised side skirts, a rear  diffuser and a 599XX-inspired  spoiler. The model also has a carbon fiber hood, tinted taillights, a  roof-mounted scoop and 21- / 22-inch forged alloy wheels with Pirelli  Sport tires. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">No specific interior upgrades were given, but customers can order a  bespoke cabin with Italian leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim and a  sport steering wheel.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Under the hood, the 6.2-liter (6262cc) V12 engine has been equipped  with a titanium exhaust system that enables it to produce 764 HP (562  kW) - an increase of 24 HP (18 kW). There's also carbon fiber  side flaps, an aggressive diffuser and a rear wing. They were able to lift the output of the V12 6.2-liter engine from  740 HP (544 kW) to 764 HP (562 kW) by installing a custom titanium  exhaust system which enables the supercar to reach a maximum speed of  almost 350 km/h (217 mph). The next order of business was to develop a carbon fiber body kit  that makes the F12 look even more aggressive. The stock hood has been  replaced by a carbon fiber variant, while the roof scoop is also a  novelty. There's also a prominent new lip splitter which DMC says it  improves road stability, along with a new set of side skirts using a  pair of diffuser plates, while at the back it gets a 599XX-inspired spoiler wing. Design-wise, we notice the new look of the front bumper and a new  spoiler lip that increases downforce. The hood has extra air inlets and  outlets, while the wide side skirts feature zig-zag end-panels. At the back, the diffuser and trunk spoiler have  been reworked. All of the added parts are made from carbon fiber. The  Maserati GranTurismo Convertible by DMC has also been fitted with a  sport suspension that lowers it by about 30mm and it rides on 255/30 R20  tires (front) and 305/30 R21 (back). On the design front, we notice the new look of the front spoiler  and splitter lip that are mounted on the stock bumper and are  manufactured from carbon fiber. The aerodynamic stability has been improved thanks  to the new side skirts which DMC says that they act as diffusers. In  addition, downforce has also been further improved by the carbon fiber  rear diffuser and the added tunnel system, along with the rear wing  spoiler. The changes do not end here as the engineers at DMC  have decided to replace the overhead throttle valves with 12 custom  single-intake throttle plates (one for each cylinder). The pressure  modulators, injection nozzles, fuel lines and fuel pumps are some of the  components that have been replaced by the tuner. While the stock  exhaust system of the Lamborghini Aventador tips the scales at 34 kg,  the new one weighs only 3.4 kg. The price tag for all these upgrades is 125,000 Euros (approximately $165,000). Dubbed the SOHO, the package transforms the model into a Gallardo LP570.  It includes new bumpers, revised side skirts and an aggressive rear diffuser. To spruce up the interior, customers can order premium leather upholstery and carbon fiber trim. For added performance, the tuner can modify the engine to produce an  additional 40 HP (29 kW) and 30 Nm (22 lb-ft) of torque.  This enables  the supercar to hit a new top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph). German luxury tuner DMC is  targeting potential buyers of those early-bird Gallardos with their body  kit, which facelifts the car into a 2012 LP570 style: Introducing the  DMC Lamborghini Gallardo "SOHO".<br /> <em>Body Kit</em><br /> The basic message of the SOHO is clear, adding an aggressive look with a strong pinch of LP570 DNA.<br /> To achieve greater downforce on the front, DMC offers a redesigned  front bumper that adds the latest LP570 style to the old bull from  St'Agata. In typical DMC tradition, its being manufactured in pure  carbon fiber. Unlike other suppliers, who make a product of glass giber  and add some carbon lips, DMC's whole product, is made of visible carbon  fiber. If you ask if that's really necessary, since some parts would be  painted anyhow? No, but while others opt for cheap, DMC opts for the  best only.<br /> The kit continues with perfectly matched side diffusers, a massive  rear wing, and a new rear-fascia. A new rear diffuser completes the look  and supports the redesigned aerodynamics of the car. Thanks to these  aerodanymic components, the DMC Gallardo makes a clear sportier  appearance, gets a refreshed 2012 look and leaves nothing else but  exclusive impressions.<br /> <em>Interior</em><br /> DMC prepares the cockpit of the Baby-Lambo providing even more sports  racing atmosphere. For this, the tuners from Duesseldorf, Germany offer  a complete make-over using carbon fiber & fine italian leathers.  Clients that have the opportunity to bring their car to DMC will not  recognize their Gallardo after the DMC treatment. Complete new leather  and carbon fiber coatings leave no old look behind, a hand-made art that  is performed by only a few masters left in Germany.<br /> <br /><em>Engine</em><br /> Thanks to DMC's Engine Performance facility in Zurich, Switzerland,  the tuners were able to get some additional HP out of the Gallardo's V10  engine. Gallardos that seek tuning either come with a 500 or 520 HP  base engine. No matter which of those 2 models are being modified, DMC  will able to come up with an increased 40 PS (30 Nm), achieving a new  top-speed of 322 km/h for both versions.<br /> <em>Exhaust</em><br /> The DMC stainless sports rear silencer (end pipe) emits a sound  similar to that generated from race tracks announcing the arrival of the  blood-curdling steer. Positive side effect; an even sportier rear look.  If that‘s not enough, customers can extend their exhaust system with a  DMC sport metallic catalytic converter. DMC reports a growing number of their clientele using the Porsche  Cayenne or Panamera as their daily car, and therefore, thought a  moderate tuning program for the Porsche models would be a good  opportunity for cross sales.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Set to debut at this week's Top Marques Monaco show, the Terra 650  components were engineered to be direct replacement parts with an  installation time of 1-2 hours. As a result, the exterior styling  focuses on spoilers and diffusers but not bumper fascias as they require  painting. All six replacement parts are made of carbon fiber and  include hood, side skirts, side mirrors, rear wing spoiler, liftgate  trim and graphics kit.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">On the engine performance side, DMC decided to provide an upgraded  turbo charger with turbine wheels made of titanium-aluminum. This helps  reducing the inertia and thus gives a much better gas response. Fitted  with DMC's brand new compressor wheels, the airflow is a maximum 10  percent greater than the original turbos. However, broken down into their separate kits the  pricing may seem a bit more palatable for some.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"The Molto Veloce aims at Aventador owners that seek to add a little  more exclusivity to their LP700," says Thorsten Grebers, Marketing  Manager at DMC Germany. "The LP900 engine upgrade clearly targets speed  enthusiasts."</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The least expensive kits are the new interior which costs 17,700 euros and the ADV1 wheel package which starts at EUR 7.800.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Next is the body kit which costs 19,500 euros and consists of a front  fascia, lower lip spoiler and splitter, side skirts, rear wing spoiler  and rear fascia with diffuser. All components are made of carbon fiber.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The meat and potatos are found under the hood, accounting for a head  banging 80,000 euros. DMC has given the 6.5-liter V12 a complete  valvetrain rebuild with 12 unique single intake throttle plates, new  fuel pump and lines as well as pressure modulators and new injector  nozzles. Output gets dialed up to 610 PS (449 kW / 602  hp) and 569 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque compared to the series 570 PS (420  kW / 562 hp) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft). Top speed is also slightly higher  now at 330 km/h (205 mph) compared to the standard 325 km/h (202 mph).<br /> DMC makes its body kits out of carbon fiber using laser scans of the  car to replace original parts. The aero kit here includes front bumper  wings, side skirts, rear diffuser and fog-lamp aprons. The mirror covers  are also done in carbon fiber.<br /> The 458 Italia 'Milano' features a stainless-steel exhaust system and  a wheel set with 9J x 21-inch rims wrapped in VA 255/30ZR21 tires at  the front and 12J X 22-inch rims at the back fitted with 335/25/ZR22  tires.<br /> This being SEMA, a sound system package was also installed on the  car, courtesy of Hollywood-based sound specialists Al & Ed.<br /><br /> Press release:<br /><br /><br /><strong>OFFICIAL: DMC 458 Italia "Milano" on SEMA 2011</strong><br /> <br />DMC Press Release:<br /> <em>Official Premier at the SEMA Motor Show 2011: DMC refines the Ferrari 458 Italia</em><br /> German luxury tuner DMC celebrates the official premier of it's 458  Italia "Milano" at the SEMA Motorshow 2011, and it's a stunner.<br /> While the engineers were able to come up with a beautiful body kit,  it's no doubt that the engine make-over is the true star of this car.  Creating 610 hp vs. the regular 570 from the 4,5 L V8 engine makes  anybody forget that this is the smallest of Ferraris currently  available. Torque was increased from 540 Nm to 569 Nm, giving you that  extra push upon starting your journey. And betold journey may be over  sooner than you think, because DMC's Italia is faster than 330 KM per  hour, compared with the 325 km/h of the house stallion.<br /> Supporting the increased performance are the carbon fiber parts  presented in this kit: The wings located in the front bumper were  re-engineered from visible carbon fiber, just as were the side skirts,  the rear diffuser and the fog-light aprons. Most significant and  certainly a unique signature of the kit is the pair of carbon fiber  mirrors. They are, like all other components of this kit, molded  stand-alone carbon fiber parts that exchange for the OEM items. Instead  of using trims that cover OEM parts with a carbon layer, DMC's engineers  went back to the drawing board and manufactured these items from ground  up:<br /> After a thorough 3D scan of the original parts, the design was  improved in the computer using CAD solutions. The computer images were  then CNC'ed into a negative mold of these parts, using industry quality  steel. It is these molds that are used to bake carbon fiber in a vacuum  environment in auto-clave production ovens. The result are  weight-saving, extremely light carbon fiber parts.<br /> The newly designed 458 Italia exhaust system is made from t309 grade  stainless steel and has  performance driven 4-2-1 headers, and valved  exhaust. It comes with protective heat shields to protect the stallion  from high temperatures and increase performance lost from 'heat soak'.  The DMC heat shields also protect the vehicle in the case of leaking  fluids igniting due to contact with the heat from an exhaust system.  Compared with the original exhaust, DMC's solution shaves a whopping 19  KG off the car, making the car lighter and performance-driven.<br /> A remote to manually keep the exhaust valves open is available optionally, in markets that allow for this solution.<br /> To complete the optical package, DMC presents a combination of 21"  and 22" rims (9Jx21 front / 12Jx22 rear) that are meant to control the  newly added power and carbon lightness of the car. As for Pneus, DMC is  offering VA 255/30 ZR 21 and HA 335/25 ZR22 respectively, rounding up a  perfect styling package for the 458 Italia.<br /> DMC's "Milano" Styling Kit is shown at SEMA booth No. 48146.
