The tuner has taken a break from its aftermarket programs for the Nissan GT-R and various Porsche  models to focus on the German high-performance sedan. The car's  soundtrack has been improved thanks to a new high-performance, stainless  steel exhaust system. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">It also features high-flow drop-in air filters and a removable engine  control module working together with the stock systems for a higher  boost from the engine's twin turbos. While the first one was not bad at all, the Mi5Sion  package showed in Geneva earlier this month left a lot to be desired.  However, we might have to reconsider our opinion after seeing Hamann’s  latest M5-based project.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This more extreme variant was displayed at the Auto Trader Live  luxury car show in Dubai where it shocked the crowd with its in-depth  customization. Just about everything on the outside has changed,  including the double kidney grille, ventilated hood, double rear  spoilers and diffuser. Known as the  MH1 S Biturbo, the main focus was on the engine that at first got a  software update, followed by a new air guide with a carbon airbox and  custom downpipes. There’s also a bigger charging air cooler and a larger  water cooler. As a result, this custom BMW 1M Coupe is 125 hp (93 kW)  more powerful than the standard model, being capable of outputting no  less than 465 hp (347 kW). Other modifications include a special MHR front  spoiler, new tail diffuser, carbon motor cowl and trunk lid, along with  mirror caps made from the same lightweight material. We also notice the  9x20 front wheels with Continental Sport Contact 5P 245/30 ZR20 tires  and the 10.5x20 rear wheels wrapped around in 295/25 ZR20 high  performance tires. It can reach a speed of  372km/h (231mph) using its V10 supercharged engine which as we  previously reported is approximately the max velocity of the McLaren F1  supercar. The German tuning house is now celebrating creating their 100th  Hurricane by offering a few extra ponies under the hood. By switching to  an Alpha-N engine management system, the engine can now reach an output  of  830 PS (610kW /819hp) between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm while the peak  torque remains 800Nm (590lb-ft). Unfortunately the update does not result in any performance  advantages. It continues to take 4.3 seconds to accelerate from  0-100kph(0-62mph) while 200km/h is reached in 9.1 seconds.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Press release:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="pressreleasecontent">After the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RR  with twin-supercharger engine and 800 hp/588 kW has set a new High-Speed  record with 372 km/h in 2010, improving the old G-POWER record from  2008, the demand for this power sedan with supercharged V10 engine just  exploded. Therefore the two  superchargers named ASA T1-313 have been replaced by larger ASA T1-316  units. They are both driven by a belt and do provide each cylinder bank  with supercharged air. Further down the line the pre-compressed air from  the superchargers is cooled for a maximum power output. A complicated  aluminium casting - painted in G-POWER orange - replaces the standard  air box on top of the engine, and its direct inlet is responsible for  the spontaneous response characteristics which give the G-POWER motor  its incomparable response and also much more torque.<br /> <br />The inner workings of the 10-cylinder, four-valve engine are  optimised by light, precisely balanced MAHLE high-performance forged  pistons with lower compression and increased mechanical strength. As the  standard connecting rods and piston pins were equally not up to the  considerably increased forces, here too, recourse was had to special  parts. The switch to an Alpha-N engine management system and hence the  elimination of the air mass sensors also contributes to the increased  power output of 830 hp / 610 kW, available between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm.  The engine delivers its peak of torque of 780 Nm at 6,500 rpm.<br /><br />Of  course the periphery of the engine, especially the exhaust system and  the fuel supply system, needs to be modified as well in order to match  with the new requirements. A G-POWER SPEEDFLOW exhaust system with two  racing catalysts minimizes the exhaust backpressure and a G-POWER  stainless steel rear muffler with DEEPTONE technology and 4 x 83 mm tail  pipes featuring the M-Design completes the exhaust system of the M5  HURRICANE RRs. The capacity of the fuel supply system is upgraded with  fuel injectors with enlarged mass flow and the use of an additional high  performance fuel pump. An electronic control unit designed by G-POWER  enables the additional third fuel pump to operated boost related. This  set up guaranties and reliable fuel supply under all conditions.  <br /><br />Prepared  like this the G-POWER HURRICANE RRs does not only set new performance  standards for top speed. With an acceleration of just 4.3 seconds from  standstill to 100 km/h, 9.1 seconds from standstill to 200 km/h and 25,2  seconds from standstill to 300 km/h the two-ton sedan is also leading  his class.<br />Two tons of weight and a top speed of more than 370 km/h  naturally require extreme demands on the tires, being fitted on special  G-POWER wheels. Our technology partner Michelin provided  high-performance Pilot Sport tires in the dimensions 255/35 ZR 19 at the  front axle and 305/30 ZR 19 at the rear axle for this reason. For every  day use the G-POWER HURRICANE RRs runs on 20-inch SILVERSTONE DIAMOND  wheels with the dimensions 255/35 ZR 20 and 285/30 ZR 20 front and rear.<br /> Even more contributions to the HURRICANE RRs's high-speed talents are  coming from a height-adjustable G-POWER RS coilover suspension that is  adjustable for both compression and rebound in nine settings and the  high-performance G-POWER brake system with up to six brake pistons and  up to 396 mm brake disc diameter for the front axle and 380 mm for the  rear axle. The G-POWER brake system enables a substantially higher brake  force than the standard brake system. At the same time, the heat  generated due to the braking process can be dissipated more effectively.  The G-POWER brake package is completed by brake pads with a larger pad  area, higher friction rate as well as metal-coated brake lines. With  this set-up, the G-POWER Braking System always provides maximum brake  force and the braking point remains precise in any case. Starting with the body, Kelleners offers a new front bumper fascia  with lower lip spoiler and three-piece polished stainless steel air vent  inserts, sides skirts and rear bumper diffuser. Engine upgrades provide a performance increase of approximately 20  percent. For the 535d, power output is increased from 313 HP (230 kW /  309 bhp) to 376 (277 kW / 371 bhp) with maximum torque reaching 756 Nm  (558 lb-ft) instead of the regular 630 Nm (465 lb-ft). The 550i is also  increased to 490 HP (360 kW / 483 bhp) from the standard 407 HP (299 kW /  401 bhp). Torque also increases from 600 to 720 Nm (442 -  530 lb-ft). The exhaust system is Kelleners own with its four round 90mm  stainless steel tail pipes. The chassis is equipped with Kelleners own wheel designs named  Hamburg and Berlin. They are available in 8.5x19 and 9.5x19 as well as  9x20 and 10x20. Color options for both designs include polished graphite  silver, polished platinum silver and matt black. Sport springs lower  the vehicle by 30 mm. The front bumper  fascia has integrated LED daytime driving lights while the rear fascia  is designed to reduce aerodynamic lift. Other components include side  sills, a roof spoiler and rear boot spoiler.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The M5 also features Hamann ultra-light Unique Forged II wheels in  front size 9.5Jx21-inch with Continental Sport Contact 5P tires in the  size 265/30 ZR 21 and at the rear 12.0Jx21-inch with 325/25 ZR 21 tires.  Also available is the three-piece HAMANN aluminum wheel named Edition  Race Anodized. It has an anthracite-anodized inner wheel face plus a  mirror-finished outer rim flange with titanium bolts. Sport springs  lower the vehicle's ride height by 30mm.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Hamann is currently working on an engine performance upgrade which  includes a high-performance sports muffler and a new engine-management  system boosting power approximately 160 PS and 220 Nm of torque. First previewed back in April, the final version looks quite different than the initial design renderings  which took an obvious influence from the BMW M3. However, perhaps it's  better Prior Design took a different direction and came up with  something more original.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The kit consists of a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffusor and  carbon fiber roof spoiler. A cat back exhaust system with M3-style quad  exhaust pipes adds the final touch.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We're sure this isn't the last we hear from Prior Design in regard to  the 5-Series F10. Almost a year later, though still ahead of the M5, comes this  touring/wagon bodystyle B5 featuring nearly identical specs as the  sedan. The 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 gets its output dialed up a few  notches to 507 PS (373 kW / 500 bhp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque -  exactly 100 PS (74 kW / 99 bhp) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) more than the  series'.
