The 1-Series is considered by many the least desirable model in BMW's  lineup due to its rather awkward front fascia. Lumma Design has tried  to improve the hatchback's looks by adding a front spoiler lip available  for the variant without the M-Technik package. Priced at 249 EUR, the  spoiler lip is easy to install and can be pre-painted upon request. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">They are also providing a set of lowering springs for an additional  269 EUR which bring the 1-Series closer to the road by 35 mm. The stripe  set seen in these photos costs 179 EUR and is available in a variety of  colors.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Inside you can opt for anodized aluminum pedals (220 EUR) which have a  non-slip surface or for velour floor mats with the tuner's logo priced  at 179 EUR. As a final touch, Lumma Design  can fit your 1-Series with 18-inch anthracite-polished wheels covered  by 215/40 R18 tires. From 2007 it was followed by three-door,  coupe and convertible. In 2010 the second generation was presented to  the public. In May of the same year, the first models (limited quantity  of 6,309 vehicles) of the 1 Series M Coupe were delivered to impatiently  waiting customers.<br /> Such 1 Series M Coupe in Black Sapphire Metallic originally was  chosen by SchwabenFolia company located in Korntal-Münchingen as the  object of desire and let it mutate from Irie Green in a conspicuous  indeed chameleon. The clean sheet approximate cost is 2,150 euro. In  addition, several details and possible extras on specific customers'  course are billed separately. Looking tastefully restrained, the model is equipped with 20-inch  ADV1 5.0 TF wheels that are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.   The car also has a KW Dynamic Damping Control coilover kit which  reduces the ride height and offers three different damper settings  (Comfort, Sport & Sport+).  In the future, the company plans to  offer a variety of carbon fiber components including a front spoiler,  rear diffuser and boot lid. For added performance, the tuner can optimize the ECU to enable the  engine to produce 395 bhp (295 kW).  For even more power, the addition  of a larger intercooler allows the mill to develop 454 bhp (339 kW). Other changes include the flow-optimized downpipes for  lowering exhaust gas temperature, a bigger capacity for the boost  cooling system, along with a new engine software.</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Thanks to these modifications, the output of the  engine has increased from the standard 340 hp (253 kW / 344 PS) to 435  hp (324 kW / 441 PS). The torque figure is also up from 368 lb-ft (500  Nm) to 435 lb-ft (590 Nm). The model has been dubbed as the Vorsteiner 1M Coupe GTS-V  and here are the first full pictures of the completed package. The body kit is the main focus of the update with new carbon fiber  front lip that lowers the ride height and also includes integrated brake  duct intakes. The rear boot lid has been replaced with a Vorsteiner  designed version that incorporates a rear wing and the rear diffuser  also gets a more aggressive design. Engineers have also moderately boosted power by 15hp and 5lb-ft of  torque with a new full titanium exhaust system with quad tailpipes. This is a fully street legal car and it packs a hell of a  punch. Tuningwerk who reside just around the corner from the Bavarian auto  maker has upgraded the 3.0-liter engine to generate a total of 521hp  (388kW / 528PS) and  614Nm (453lb-ft) of torque. We are told it will  enable a top speed in excess of 300kph (186mph). The tuning modifications include a titanic exhaust system and it also incorporates an upgraded cooling system. The body is treated to a GT4 front lip, engine hood, boot lid and  rear spoiler that are all made from carbon fiber. The Recaro  PolePosition bucket seats are made from the same lightweight material  and contribute to the extreme weight loss. The tuner also adds a set of  19-inch rims that are wrapped by Dunlop  Sport Maxx tires and behind  them are upgraded 370mm or 380mm carbon  ceramic brake discs. The final model is said to be ready to pass FIA admission regulations with only minimal changes.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Press release:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">UNCOMPROMISING 1st M RS BMW with 521 HP by TUNINGWERK</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The fact that the TUNINGWERK company specializes in BMW models, has  geographical grounds, as Puchheim is a catchment area of Munich and  probably rather the other way round. The BMW head office is situated in  Munich. On the other hand, the question was only in time for the  well-acknowledged BMW models that the 1st BMW M-Version would appear.  TUNINGSWERK has given it no other name than the 1st M RS.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The motor, also referred to as engine, was completely modified. The  transmission of the back axis was shortened up to 3.25 transmission  ratios, optionally 3.45 are also possible. As a differential locking it  has a suitable for the power to weight ratio Drexler lock. The cooling  system was completely modified, including the second oil cooler. The  model has a titanic exhaust system. The engine clutch has  unconditionally optimized stability, it is well suited for the city  traffic, and herewith a racing clutch is possible. But for eventually  planned racing some further small modifications for the FIA admission  are needed, such as the expansion of the case. There is still much  potential in further weight reduction, while the door trims and  insulation material is in the original state. GT4 front lip, engine  hood, boot lid and also rear spoiler and Recaro seats called  PolePosition are made of carbon. It is possible to install doors out of  the same material and plastic side glass, however with the full case.  The 3-x club sport lorry running gear can be combined with H&R  lightweight stabilizers upon request.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The important connection between the vehicle and the road in this  case is provided by the forged ATS superlight 9x19 inches rims on the  front and 10x19 inches rims - on the back. Additionally, the vehicle is  equipped with 245/35R19 Dunlop blow-up „Sport Maxx" tyres on the front  axis and 285/30R19 ones - on the rear axis. As an alternative, there are  also FlowForming Crosslight ATS rims of the same size. The car has  installed steel breaking system with discs 370 mm in diameter by Mov'it  to take care of the perfect stop, where the 380 carbon ceramic discs are  also possible.<br />Due to this balanced mix of tuning means, the  TUNINGWERK succeeded in creating the driving dynamics of an outstanding  quality. The six three-liter cylinders with 521 hp or 388 kW enable 614  Nm maximal torque from 2,800 rpm and maximal speed of 300 km/h  (depending on the type of tyres!) Other highlights include a  lowered sport suspension and BMW Performance seats with orange contrast  stitching.</p> <p>Power comes from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder that has  been equipped with a revised ECU and a sport exhaust system.
